The availability of electrical energy plays an important role in the industrialization and development process of a nation. There is a continuous expansion of the electrical power systems in our country to make the power available to the fast-growing industrial, commercial and domestic sectors. This leads to the opening of new avenues for technocrats in the field of Electrical Engineering. Consistent efforts are maintained by the staff for the overall development of the students. In addition to impart latest theoretical knowledge, the department has well equipped laboratories for practical training. To expose the students to the industrial environment, latest industrial trends and work culture of industry, the department organizes industrial visits, end semester trainings and expert lectures by industrial experts. The department has very good placement record of passout students with reputed industrial houses. Continuous liaison with industry is maintained for industrial exposure in the form of industrial training and for placement of students. These efforts bear fruit in the form of well-placed pass out students in various industries. These courses were started in 2025 with the objective of providing students with strong theoretical knowledge, practical exposure, and industry-oriented skills to excel in the evolving electrical engineering sector.
