As the head of the institution, my priorities are Admission, Academics and Placement of the students. The toughest challenge for me, after my joining, is to raise the current level of admission to full, so that the glory of this prestigious Govt Polytechnic College can be regained and the benefit of imparting technical professional courses may reach the maximum number of young girls of the state.
The first effort for increasing the admission is to vastly improve the academics of the college. I have laid full emphasis on improving classroom teaching and practical skill imparting. As, this college has the finest of the faculty, which is highly qualified and experienced, my only effort is to provide them the kind of leadership which will bring the best of them, and will ultimately turn the students into skilled manpower and will not only enable them to stand on their own feet but also prepare them to be buddy entrepreneurs. My vision of academics for students is not only limited to provide technical skills but also to improve their overall personality for which the institute is
providing the platform to excel in sports and extra co-curricular activities. In order to provide the best of job opportunities, I, on joining the college, have established the dedicated Placement Cell with a well-defined set of duties. My aim is to provide maximum job opportunities for students who are interested in the placement. The right kind of platform shall be provided to those who want to establish their own ventures. Very soon the college is going to establish Entrepreneurship Development Cell. I pray to Almighty to give me the strength to selflessly work for the betterment of my college and for the welfare of the staff. I also sincerely thank my fellow colleagues who are working relentlessly day and night for the welfare of college and students.
